This blessing to God expresses our appreciation for allowing us to live for this moment when a new thing is happening. It is said during new and remarkable experiences and to celebrate special occasions.
This blessing has been recited for nearly 2000 years.
Baruch atah Adonai Elohaynu melech ha-olam.
